The location of this house was fantastic for exploring the Derbyshire sights. It was a short drive to Bakewell and Matlock, and even closer to Carsington Water. Plus, if you have young children, there's a great softplay centre just 7 minutes away in Cromford.
I have to mention the second bedroom, which was extremely small. If you're a family, just be aware of this limitation.

I had the most amazing stay at The Tenth House in Wirksworth Peak District Cottage. The house itself was beautifully furnished and had all the stylish and modern facilities I could ask for. The attention to detail was evident, and I particularly loved the little touches like the toys and books for children. The location was perfect, right in the middle of the charming town with plenty of things to do nearby. The hosts, Kelly and Martin, were excellent and provided great information ahead of time, making sure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. I can't wait to visit again in the future.
The steep and narrow stairs, which may not be suitable for young children. Additionally, parking near the property in the evenings could be a bit challenging.

We really enjoyed our 3-night stay at this charming cottage in Wirksworth Peak District. The location is superb, right in the heart of the village. The house is sparkling clean and beautifully decorated, with lovely little touches throughout. The living room, though small, is incredibly cosy. We appreciated the modern amenities such as Alexa in the kitchen and the Krups coffee machine. The beds were comfortable and the communication from the owners was excellent. They even went above and beyond by ordering an iron for us during our stay. We can't wait to come back!
Could not be improved in any way.

Amazing location for hiking, canoeing, and cycling. The cottage had free WiFi, mountain views, and even a children's playground. Plus, they offered a paid shuttle service from the airport. So convenient!
Oh, and the best part? The unstable chairs and tiny bunk bed room.
